With just over 266 days and counting until the release of Avengers 4, one fan is passing the time by putting together an intriguing fan trailer. While this is by no means official, many fans might find it interesting, since the footage used finds a way to bring in two Avengers who were missing in Avengers: Infinity War, Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd). Both of those characters have been confirmed to return for next year's highly-anticipated sequel - which will bring Marvel's Phase 3 to a close - but there is no indication as to how big their roles will be.

While neither Hawkeye or Ant-Man were featured in Infinity War, they were mentioned briefly by Captain America (Chris Evans) in one scene. After reuniting with Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) and Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), Cap revealed both Hawkeye and Ant-Man took deals with the government, so they could be with their families in the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War. Given the state of the world after Thanos' (Josh Brolin) snap that wiped out half the universe's population, it's not surprising that both Hawkeye and Ant-Man join the fight against him in Avengers 4.

The fan trailer above comes courtesy of YouTuber stryderHD, who revealed this video is actually a "re-cut" version of the Avengers 4 fan teaser that he released earlier. This trailer, which posits that the title will be Avengers: Endgame, is cut together using scenes from Avengers: Infinity War, Thor: Ragnarok and Captain America: Civil War. He acknowledges that it may be too early for this trailer - since there hasn't been any Captain Marvel footage released yet - but since Avengers: Infinity War is now on Digital HD, he thought it was the perfect time to create the new final product seen above. Hawkeye surfaces in a brief scene from the Battle of New York in 2012's The Avengers, while Ant-Man only appears in two brief scenes as well. The return of Hawkeye has been the source of much speculation, especially when it comes to his new haircut and costume, which some believe is a bit of foreshadowing, hinting that Hawkeye's family had been among the victims of Thanos' snap. In the comics, when Hawkeye was seen sporting the same haircut and costume, it was directly after his family was killed, and given the global implications of Thanos' infamous snap, it wouldn't be surprising if Clint Barton's wife (Linda Cardellini) and kids were among the innocent victims.

Marvel isn't expected to unveil the official title of Avengers 4 until near the end of this year, leaving fans a few more months to speculate about what this final MCU Phase 3 movie will be called. Even if Endgame isn't the official title, it wouldn't be surprising if there ended up being similar finality in the title, as this story that will soon span 22 movies finally comes to an end, and Marvel Studios embarks on its sure to be exciting Phase 4 lineup.
