Monster Hunter World is now available for PC but not without problems of its own. One of the issues Monster Hunter World PC is facing is the connection error and Capcom has noted that it is working with Vale to fix it.

According to Capcom, it is investigating these connection errors for Monster Hunter World PC and hopes to fix them as soon as possible.

Capcom has also apologized for the inconvenience caused by these connection errors.

The acknowledgment of Monster Hunter World PC connection errors come after a string of negative reviews by Steam users which caused the game’s overall rating to drop.

We have been receiving numerous reports that players are experiencing connection errors after every several times they depart on quests. We are currently investigating the cause of this and are working with Valve to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

We will keep you informed of further developments in this matter. We thank you for your patience and apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

However, despite Monster Hunter World PC facing numerous issues, it has still sold well and beyond Capcom’s expectations.

According to Steam Spy, the PC version of the game has managed to sell over 2 million copies.

Add this with 8 million copies sold on consoles, the game has now surpassed 10 million units sold across all three platforms.

Also, the game reportedly isn’t mods friendly as one PC modder has noted that Monster Hunter World PC features the strongest anti-mod tech he has ever encountered.

According to the modder, he encountered this problem while he was developing a mod to fix the HDR for Monster Hunter World PC.

He noted that this might or might not be related to the implementation of the Denuvo DRM as he can’t say for sure since he didn’t encounter this type of anti-mod tech before.

As for the game’s performance on PC, well it varies from system to system. You can check out the full breakdown of PC performance here.

Monster Hunter World is an action RPG developed by Capcom for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
