The Xbox Game Pass library is growing bigger each week, adding both old and relatively new titles to its dynamic. Microsoft will now add two more of Bethesda’s titles: Doom and Rage to its list of games, adding up to the recently released Fallout 4 and Elder Scrolls Online.

According to Eurogamer, Bethesda has brought Doom and Rage to Xbox Game Pass this weekend, during Quake Con 2018. Even if you haven’t tried the service up until now, you get another reason to do so and get ready for both games’ sequel which are releasing – most likely – next year.

Doom (2016) will release as its Xbox One edition, whereas Rage will be an Xbox 360 title added to the service. Neither of them is available through the Xbox Play Anywhere service on PC, however, this shouldn’t be too alarming since both games are discounted on Steam. You can grab Doom for €9.99 and Rage for €2.49, both hugely discounted from their original price.

A few days ago, it was revealed by a user on Reddit which tells us that the game is coming to Xbox Game Pass on August 10. The information came to be true, with Rage added up to mix. If you are interested in playing both games you should pay the $9.99/month and get access to a library of more than one hundred free titles on Xbox One, some of which are also playable on PC.

On various occasions, the Xbox Game Pass has been dubbed as the “Netflix for video games”. The reason behind the subscription service being considered as a sanctum by the Xbox users is justified given the range of games it offers.

As we see it, this is the perfect opportunity for Bethesda to promote Rage 2 and Doom Eternal in a meaningful way. Both Rage and Doom are franchises loved by the industry and will be appreciated by even more now that Xbox users can play them without having to own any part of them,
