MUSIC giant Sony has admitted releasing three fake Michael Jackson songs after his death.

It is being sued after a sound expert hired by a fan concluded the vocals “very likely did not belong to Jackson."

Sony Music Entertainment stated in court documents he “may not have been the singer” on Breaking News, Monster and Keep Your Head Up.

They were released on 2010 album Michael — a year after the star died.

But lawyers for Sony and the Estate appeared at the Court of Appeal this week to try to stop the case from coming to trial.

Sony argues it still has a right to sell them under his name thanks to freedom of speech laws.

Lawyers for Serova counter argued that it is actually false advertising.

They said in legal documents: "The court must decide whether the First Amendment gives distributors of expressive works a constitutional right to sell forged art, falsely advertising it to consumers as the work of a famous artist."

Judge Ann I Jones accused them in LA of “ripping people off”.

She gave the go-ahead for a lawsuit against Sony and the Michael Jackson Estate.
