Almost every developer in the industry is trying its hand of the Battle Royale mode and Techland is about to try its hand on the Battle Royale with Dying Light Battle Royale spin-off “Bad Blood” while the studio is still working on Dying Light 2.

Techland has announced that Dying Light Battle Royale spin-off “Bad Blood” will be coming to Steam early access next month. However, the concept of this Dying Light Battle Royale is quite interesting.

The Dying Light Battle Royale will be PvEvP and features 12 players in total. Players will spawn with nothing in hand and will have to scavenge in order to create weapons and health items while simultaneously avoiding Zombies.

The end goal of the Dying Light Battle Royale is to get to the evac chopper and escape, however, only one player can escape alive.

Meaning the game will be intense as players will not only have to survive the players but also the AI controller relentless zombies along with scavenging through the world for the tools of survival.

As for the price, well the game is a free-to-play title but players will have to drop $20 for the Founder’s Pack of the Dying Light Battle Royale spin-off “Bad Blood”.

The Founder’s Pack will give you access to three legendary skins, which will be available in the next three months following launch, and other in-game content and in-game currency.

It is important to note that without buying Founder’s Pack, players will not have access to the Dying Light Battle Royale spin-off in Steam Early Access. Simply put, either wait for the game to come out of Early access or drop $20 to play it.

Also, Techland will be hosting Global Tests ahead of the game’s launch on Steam Early Access. To participate in the Global Tests, you will have to register.

The first Global Test for Dying Light Battle Royale will start on August 25 and will continue to August 26. The purpose of this test will be to stress test the net code.

The second global tests will take place September 1 and will continue to September 2. The goal of this test is to fix bugs and bring gameplay balances.

As I mentioned before, Techland is also working on Dying Light 2. However, the sequel will be taking things to a next-level as the game will feature complex AI and a Morality System.
