Nvidia announced its RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 2080 which bring real-time Ray tracing support to video games and in the process make them look even good.

Aside from announcing the GPUs, Nvidia has also revealed the list of games supporting Real-Time Ray Tracing which includes Battlefield V, Control, Shadow Of The Tomb Raider and more.

In total Nvidia has announced 21 games that will support Real-Time Ray Tracing at launch. Battlefield V and Shadow Of The Tomb Raider supporting Real-Time Ray Tracing doesn’t come as a surprise since their respective studios have partnered up with Nvidia for the PC version.

However, the list doesn’t include Anthem or The Division 2 which were rumored to support real-time ray tracing.

But we are sure that the list will grow with time and Nvidia will eventually include the ray tracing support for Anthem and The Division 2 as their launch gets closer.

Here is the full list of games supporting Real-time Ray Tracing for Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti, RTX 2080 and RTX 2070.

  • Ark: Survival Evolved
  • Assetto Corsa Competizione
  • Atomic Heart
  • Battlefield V
  • Control
  • Dauntless
  • In Death
  • Enlisted
  • Final Fantasy XV
  • The Forge Arena
  • Fractured Lands
  • Hitman 2
  • Justice
  • JX3
  • Mechwarrior V: Mercenaries
  • Metro Exodus
  • PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds
  • Remnant from the Ashes
  • Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass
  • Shadow of the Tomb Raider
  • We Happy Few

Also, don’t expect real-time ray tracing support with GTX 2060 or lower end GPUs in the upcoming GPU lineup as it is reportedly exclusive to high-end GPUs.

According to report, the GTX 2060 and lower end GPUs aren’t powerful enough to handle ray-tracing and hence will not be able to play games with Real-Time Ray tracing enabled.

Aside from bringing the Ray Tracing support, the GPUs themselves are very powerful compared to GTX 10 series. Nvidia has noted that the RTX 2070 outperforms Titan XP and it only costs $499.

This is a huge leap in GPU performance and will result in these GPUs supporting titles for years to come. The RTX 2070 comes with 2304 Cores and is capable of 6 Giga Rays/s.
