The title track from the Las Vegas group's fifth studio album now has some visuals

The Killers have released a new, desert-set video for ‘Wonderful Wonderful’, the title track from their fifth studio album.

‘Wonderful Wonderful‘ was released last year. In a four-star review, NME said: “[Brandon] Flowers bares more on ‘Wonderful Wonderful’ than ever before, and the result is the band’s best album since 2006’s ‘Sam’s Town’. It might get lonely at the top, but The Killers aren’t going anywhere just yet.”

The black-and-white video begins with the lyrics appearing around a shell, like the one on the album’s cover, in the desert, before the words then appeared scratched into the cracked ground. Later, a girl appears and picks up the shell. Watch the video below now.

Earlier this summer, the band headlined Latitude Festival, where their set was invaded by Liam Gallagher. The former Oasis man appeared onstage to apologise for not singing on their cover of ‘Acquiesce’.

Kneeling before frontman Brandon Flowers, Gallagher said: “Unlike some people, proper rock’n’roll stars do their job and get wankered. I don’t know the words to nish, man, but thank the Lord he does, so I’m just gonna say hello and leave Brandon to do his thing.”

Meanwhile, Flowers recently said he was just a “glorified Elvis impersonator” in a US TV interview. “That’s all any of us are,” he said. When told he didn’t look like Elvis on stage, he replied: “I’m trying! I’m doing my best!”

He also added that following that he thought his Mormon beliefs had “saved him”. “I don’t go to church cos I’ve got nothing better to do on Sundays,” he said. “I really believe it. I don’t know what my life would be without it. I think I would have been a rock’n’roll casualty.”
