Nate Diaz fires back at Bruce Buffer: ‘I bow down to no one’

There was zero chance that Nate Diaz was going to take Bruce Buffer’s comments lying down.

“The Voice of the Octagon” recently told TMZ that he didn’t agree with Diaz’s attitude and that the veteran UFC fighter should be be grateful and “bowing down” to company president Dana White, as well as Endeavor co-CEOs Ari Emanuel and Patrick Whitesell.

In his tweet, Diaz tells Buffer to “get off the UFC nuts” and that it is Buffer who is bowing down, not him.

“I bow down to no one ever, for all the money in the world,” Diaz wrote.

Diaz, who has not fought since losing a majority decision to Conor McGregor at UFC 202 two years ago, is next scheduled to take on lightweight contender Dustin Poirier at UFC 230 on Nov. 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York. However, Diaz has issued a pair of cryptic tweets regarding the matchup, first suggesting that he wouldn’t be fighting at UFC 230 and then later expressing further discontent about how the UFC has treated him (though he didn’t specify the exact issue).

Should the two UFC personalities not patch things up in the coming months, this should make for an interesting scene when Buffer has to introduce Diaz at “The World’s Most Famous Arena.”

Buffer responded to Diaz’s tweet Sunday night.
