Travis Scott gives microphone to fan who stormed his Leeds Festival set

Travis Scott has had his set at Leeds interrupted by a fan who managed to make his way past security and onto the stage.

Whilst Scott initially appeared confused at the invasion, he later handed the fan a microphone. The fan then rapped a verse of Scott’s track ‘Sicko Mode’.

Speaking about the moment to Mail Online, a source close to Scott said: “It all happened very quickly and security didn’t seem to catch him in time.”

“Travis seemed a little annoyed at first, but then encouraged his behaviour by offering him the microphone.”

The source added: “Travis seemed confused at first but shortly became welcoming to the fan. He danced with the fan after taking the microphone back off him to perform his verse.”

After the fan left the stage, Scott continued to perform songs from his acclaimed new album ‘Astroworld.’

Recently, the star was criticised by Nicki Minaj first on social media, then again later on her radio show, after Scott beat her to the number one slot in the album charts.

Writing about Scott’s latest album, NME said: “The rapper has produced a lush, complex, extraordinarily accomplished album that invites us mere mortals to peer in at his life behind the velvet rope.”
