Earlier today, a report from Bloomberg passed along the most detailed look yet at the 2018 Apple iPhone lineup, and stated once again that the new handsets will be unveiled next month. In the same report, which cited "people familiar with the matter," Bloomberg also passed along information on other devices that we might see introduced along with the new iPhone models. While the report says only that Apple has been working on a new watch and iPad Pro tablets, there is no reason not to expect that these products won't be unveiled alongside the new iPhone units next month.

For example, we just might see Apple unveil a new Apple Watch in September. The report notes that the next version of Apple's smartwatch could have a larger, nearly edge-to-edge display. However, the overall size of the timepiece will remain close to the currently available models in order to make existing and newly offered straps compatible with all available series of the Apple Watch.

As for Apple's high-end tablet line, Apple might be ready to unwrap a pair of new iPad Pro models next month. One will have a screen weighing in at almost 11-inches, while the other unit will sport a 12.9-inch display. Expect to see slimmer bezels on the new slates, but don't look for a home button. Like the iPhone X, gestures will be used to navigate the tablets and Face ID will unlock them. This is something that highly ranked Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted as far back as last October.

While Apple has yet to release a date, you might want to circle September 12th on your calendar.
