KMPlayer was my best option, but some of the lastest realeases are frequently giving me headache. My alternative is Zoom Player.

Basically I use Media Player Classic - Home Cinema (MPC-HC) with lav splitter & madVR renderer for best possible video rendering. but sometimes I also use madVR with KMplayer for it's faster skipping capability . .

VLC Player, ah... 2.something if I remember correctly. Never run into any mishaps when it comes to VideoLAN.

There are 2, but hard to tell the difference;

one is VLC, who knows to do about all I need and second is WMPHomecinema, who's specialized in some other few possibilities...

For Blurays is good to use TMT5
