Dear MTV,

I know this update has been long awaited so here it is:
First off I have to tell you all that I spent a lot of time thinking on what would be the best solution going forward and even if I was not around much for more than a year I kept my eyes open and ultimately forced to intervene. I do apologize to everybody because we reached this point as MTV was also my responsibility and I let things slide for way to long but I did trust Laz for a long time as many of you did and some staff members were forced to quit because they made the same mistake I did.

In the following days I will make a poll and you, the users, will decide what will happen next with MTV and yes, you will have the option to push the delete button if that's what you want to do. 

But right now I am trying to keep this together as we lost a good portion of the people which made MTV what it is today, Laz included ... although for a whole different reason (and Yes, you will have the option to decide on this topic as well in that poll).

Before going any further I want to make one thing clear, the threats and all that comes with it will not stop here and I will be the target from now on. All that I ask from the people here is to keep an open mind and ask questions, never be afraid to ask questions, do it here in the Discuss section and I will try to answer all of them to the best of my abilities.

Now to the topic that concerns most of you: the MTV infrastructure it still up and operational, nothing has changed and nothing will change until you decide what we'll do next.

I disabled the donation page because it would not be fair to take donations when the future is not decided yet. 
The core infrastructure of MTV has never been paid from the donations thus far and while I am still here it will not relay on your donations so we can remove one concern from the list.
As to the donations that Laz claims Hobir took, that's safe with the current staff and none of Laz's concern but we can get to that later if you guys will chose to.
In fact, Hobir donated a large part of that before he was forced to quit and did not ask for it back.

I told you that users will decide what happens next and I want the users here to do an audit of MTV if they chose to do so and we can put some light into all that's happening behind the scene. I will also do a public Q/A session vs. Laz on IRC in front of all the users after this Audit so we can both answer the questions you want to ask. 
I think this is the most transparent way to shed light into all that's happened here lately but you will get to vote on this over the weekend.

As to the future plans for MTV, I have reached out to some staff members, some former staff members but nobody outside MTV because I don't know anybody outside MTV who I can trust.
There is a new SYSOP who will take charge temporary until a triumvirate will be in position and rules will be put in place. This is to avoid any type of abuse in the future from single entities. I will not be part of the triumvirate and at that point I will step down. 
All this will happen if you vote for it and decide to trust them going further of course.
