Welcome back! We've been offline for quite some time, and we're sorry for that. But we're back to almost normal... you should be able to seed old torrents, add new torrents, and use other features (like requests, forums, etc.) as usual. Some features may still be broken, so please report them in the forums and we'll take care of them. Invite registrations are temporarily disabled for a few days, until we're comfortable that all site features are working to spec.

We’ve made some improvements that should enhance the stability and performance of the website. And we have some near-term planned updates to that site, including:

• A kinder, gentler staff presence

• Updated rules, accommodating for how the community has evolved over the past year

• Updated user classes, more accurately reflecting the perks available at each class level

• An official trump chart, showing the hierarchy of allowed ebook formats and what can be trumped

• A new default stylesheet option, alongside the original (current) stylesheet

• Streamlined HTML code site-wide, allowing for easier stylesheet creation

• An official roadmap, listing additional planned improvements along a projected timeline

Thanks for your patience, and don’t hesitate to post on the forums if you have trouble with the new site. If you have a private concern, feel free to PM a staff member. Here’s to the revival of Bibliotik!

THE OFFICIAL 2012 FUNDRAISER

It's amazing to think that we've been here for so long. I remember running a sharing site out of my college dorm room in 1999, and look what it has become. A tight-knit community of music appreciators that set the bar very high for what a good community should be.

As many of you know, each year we come together to support the site through donations. Without you all, we would cease to function. The good news is that our lovely server Scarlett is running smoothly with no issues to address. All images are pushed through a CDN in addition to running nginx with a varnish cache server (among other things) which makes our site move quickly and seamlessly. All of this, however, costs money.

So far, we have great moderators, admins, and sysops that continue to demand the best from everyone, and protect us from cheaters - of course, done on their own time. So please, help us support the site and in return, I will personally offer you upload credit based on what you donate. You will also be recognized in the thread below.

All we are asking is to bring the community into another year.

It also seems a good time to remind users of the seeder surge facility. It is NOT the same as freeleech and has never been so. It is very easy to get caught out by erratic seeders coming and going on a particular torrent. Especially as the tracker does not update in real time. So the answer is USE WITH CAUTION.

First at all welcome to InviteScene , well if you want to get so many trackers it's too simple just be active in the forum and post some useful thread and apply in giveaways we have a good members that give a lot here . Too Simple Nah ? Or you can buy a tracker ( good one ) buffer it and get some invites and come here to trade :)

IF you did not already know when you receive an invite to HDME you have to fill out an application form and pass before you will be enabled and able to be active onsite .

If you have already got an acc or have had one before and got banned dont even bother trying to make another .

1. All new accounts are disabled by default.

2 the new user needs to follow the simple instructions and fill out the application at http://hdme.eu/questionaire.php , applications will be DENIED if not filled out in full or correctly.

3. once submitted a staff member will review the application.

NOTE: at this stage the applicant can simply wait until they receive their notification email or they can hop on the IRC invite channel #hdme-invite to get RT (Real Time) feedback

4. once the application form is properly reviewed and checked if everything is correct and as required the staff member will approve/deny as he/she sees appropriate, an email notification will be sent to the applicant with details if their application have been Denied or Approved (Staff do not need to explain their self's why the application was denied)

7. With approved applications the new user is automatically enabled and free to enjoy all that is HDME

8. there is a maximum of 3 applications before the user and their IP is permanently banned

Sorry for the extended downtime, folks. We had to start from scratch... find a datacenter, figure out how to fund it, reinstall everything from scratch, etc. Real life kept interfering with our return, but now that's over. Spread the word!

If you have any problems with the site, please report them in the forums and we will help you out.

If you're able to browse the site, but can't seed/leech, try restarting your bittorrent client. It may have cached the stale DNS results.

Hotmail and AOL emails are not being delivered. We're working on it.

You will see doubled peer counts, in some cases. This is a transitory effect and will disappear sometime tomorrow.

Inactive user(s) are not welcome in HDME. So user(s) have to login at least once a month and complete A single MOVIE torrent (Minimum requirement) to keep their account alive and shown as active user(s), one small torrent from TV-Shows, App's & Music will not count!!!. but a few or one big torrent will be the same as a single MOVIE torrent.

This is not us being strict to user(s), but this is to effectively deter tracker collector(s) and have an actively participant user(s).

If there is any reason why you will be unable to do this, you MUST contact the staff and inform them immediately, don't blame us for not telling you.

After some downtime that was out of our hands we are now back online again.

If you miss a certain release you can use the request section to request it.

Also, don't forget to check the "not safe to delete" as time seed time during the downtime is not counted for.

The Dutch Pirate Party is taking local anti-piracy group BREIN to court in the hope of overturning a recent order that prohibits the Party from operating a Pirate Bay proxy site.
