Oct-10-15 - Site Close Down Imminent! - It is very much regret I have to inform our loyal members that we have suddenly found ourselves in severe trouble. The owner has just come to pay the monthly server bill as usual and unfortunately Paypal have just suspended our assets leaving us no funds to pay the server what-so-ever.
The site will almost certainly go offline within the next few days and we may never be-able to return. I am very sorry and obviously I am extremely upset, but I think it's only fair to share with people the genuine situation rather than trying to beat around the bush.

Norbit 10 years!

NorBits er 10 år. Kan du tro det? :-O Er hele 10 år siden vi ble til. Dere som har vært med fra dag en er 10 år ELDRE en det dere var når NorBits startet opp. Facebook var litt over et år, internetthastigheter som 100/100 i huset var kun for de veldig heldige og litt rikere. Spotify var ikke eksisterende og all musikk lastes ned som MP3 eller andre formater og ble delt på sider som akkurat NorBits. Mye har skjedd med teknologien på disse 10 årene.

Under har vi 10 år med kunngjøringer. Det var kun det tredje året vi ikke fikk kunngjort på datoen på grunn av et DDoS angrep men vi stoppet ikke å feire av den grunn.

Slik som de siste årene, feirer vi i år også med 10 DAGER FREELEECH. det vil si helt frem til 06.10-2015 kl. 23:59!

Vi ønsker også å øke aktiviteten på chatten (IRC). Så vi vil derfor øke raten upload blir tellet på, basert på antall 100 brukere inne på #NorBits. Greier vi å få 100 brukere på chatten økes raten med 10%, ved 200 brukere økes den til 20% osv. Denne raten vil bli oppdatert manuelt ca hver tiende bruker og minimum 100. raten akkurat nå vil stå i topic på kanalen.
Med andre ord: Fler på IRC = mer upload!!

Kanskje kommer det flere overraskelser i løpet av uka!
