  1. I find owning a small business is better than working for someone else, at least in my field - which I bill by the hour.  Any time I'm doing something for a client, I'm billing.  I get to control my own hours, I work when I want, and where I want.

Those employed in my field on average make less than me and have less control / freedom; however, those that make and equivalent or more than me work 7 days a week, almost 20h / day.

  2. That depends what you like ... here are my "all time" favorites:

    • Ray Donovan
    • Banshee
    • Marvelous Mrs. Masel
    • Kim's Convenience
    • American God's
    • American Horror Story
    • Schitt's Creek
    • Formula 1: Drive to Survive
    • Why Women Kill
    • Italy Unpacked
    • Anything Anthony Bourdain
  3. I think if one is looking to flex their home theater system, any superhero movie is a great choice.

Besides that, these are also great:

    • Baby Driver
    • The Nightmare Before Christmas
    • John Wick series
    • Ex Machina
    • The Greatest Showman
    • Guns Akimbo
    • Hugo
    • Joker
    • Man from U.N.C.L.E
    • the James Bond series
    • Watchmen
    • Sucker Punch
  4. I used to be a Sony fanboy up until the Sony Xperia X Performance.  Then they became too expensive and hard to obtain here in Canada (without paying a premium or duties etc.).

In 2018, I bought a OnePlus 6 which was surprisingly decent, albeit not great at pictures.  Just recently "upgraded" to a OnePlus 7T.  Still getting used to it, but I've already found some things I don't necessarily like about it, including the fingerprint placement on the screen rather than the back.  It's slower, not as intuitive, and requires the screen to be on.  I preferred being able to pick up my OnePlus 6 and unlock with my index finger.

Other quirks of this phone is that due to the size of the back camera, if I use a rectangular metal plate for the magnetic phone holder, it interferes with the NFC unless the plate is placed at the very bottom.  In my car, when you place the plate that low, the phone covers part of the infotainment system and I have to "peek" over the phone to see the infotainment screen.

I do like the upgrade to stereo speakers though.  I've missed this since giving up my Sony's.
