At the very least, we can confirm that Zack Snyder’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice will offer up an array of helicopters. The most recent ones photographed by eagle-eye pedestrians belong to LexCorp – the business run by Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) in the film. What does he use them for? How will they be used in the movie? Your guess is as good as ours.

But that didn’t stop Twitter user Joe Stoiko form capturing these images by taking a handful of shots and posting them on social media. This montage gives us a better idea of what Stoiko was witnessing on the Batman v. Superman set… even though it’s a little vague. The pic on the left looks like a runway where crates and the LexCorp helicopter have been parked. The two images on the right are pictures (shot from a distance) of the Superman statue that has been raising all sorts of debates online. More on them in a minute. First, the pictures:

Remember all the talk about helicopters? That joke started when set-visit spies reported that news choppers from both Gotham and Metropolis were on hand for a press conference unveiling a new statue that the citizens of the latter city were erecting to the Man of Steel. It seems that Superman is being viewed as a hero in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice for choosing to save our planet from evil General Zod, instead of letting it be terraformed into Krypton South.

The LexCorps helicopters? They are a different story. Probably just playthings of a Google- and Facebook-esque billionaire (played by Jesse Eisenberg), with his long, fake locks and his irrational hatred for Superman. It’s a wonder that we haven’t seen photos of Henry Cavill or Ben Affleck in the Twitter snapshots that are flooding social media. All in due time, I suppose.

Zack Snyder’s Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is moving steadily toward its May 6, 2016 release date.
