  2. I was an excellent member of waffles.fm for years. Donated money, contributed in forums, ratio was over 50, uploaded well over 1TB of FLAC & 320 kb/s mp3s. This past summer I tried to login and could not. I sat in their IRC for several hours only to be told that I was banned. The mod (i think his name was Dino) told me that I knew what I did wrong and would not tell me anything else regarding my supposed/alleged transgression. He also told me if I continued to insult his intelligence by playing stupid he would inform his buddies at other trackers, and I would be banned there as well. I simply asked him what I did so I could learn from my mistakes and he kept being rude, so I gave up. I had a very similar experience with Ultraviolet from BTN, but he/she at least had the decency to tell me that I was suspected of receiving an invite from a member of torrent-invites.com I, of course, denied the accusation, and I got banned. Enough of my whining, here is the info for the waffles.fm irc: irc.p2p-network.net +7000 #waffles.fm, #waffles.fm-help If anybody needs anymore irc for trackers, let me know and I'll create a thread with an extensive listing. If this is something that is already on this site or is not allowed, please let me know this as well b/c I don't want to step on any toes around here.
  3. I think more news regardless of how long it has been in the street is needed. People who torrent, use DDL and share files in other ways need to be kept abreast of honey pots and other such entrapment tactics. As a community, we need to be vigilant and be open and honest in communicating all matters of the tactics of the other side. This is why I am a firm believer in “if it seems too good to be true, it should be avoided”. This is why I avoided that site that came out several months ago that was supposed to be the new Demonoid (called d2.vu, or something). It is rumored that Demonoid is supposed to “actually” make a comeback in several months, and I’ll avoid that as well.
  4. Thank you for your warm welcome and excellent site. I feel at home here eventhough I've only been here for a little bit poking around and stuff.
