  1. This is probably an unpopular opinion -- but I think cancel culture is legitimate. For reasons like this: problematic people that have portrayed toxic traits and ideologies should not be glorified by the media by elevating them to a position of power/status in movies, tv shows, etc. This gives them a platform that influences impressionable young minds who idolize them; it also makes it seem like their problematic behavior is permissible, even justified in some ways. We should hold people accountable for their actions, and that is a summary of what cancel culture is.  That being said, Warner Bros. should remove her from the film, just as Johnny Depp was removed from his.

  2. @sharpshooter Apple is my preference, one because I love the design of their devices and the UI. No other brand comes close IMO. Also when people compare device specs, the numbers (pixel counts and things of that nature) do not reveal an accurate representation of which is better because it is so much more complex than that. One example is the camera: instead of increasing the number of pixels in the image, they invest resources into making each pixel bigger, thus letting more light in ... Apple knows the limitations of the human eye and what improvements will actually matter to us. (Not that other companies don't, of course, it's just something to take into consideration when you are deciding between phones). Other companies might focus just on improvements which look better on paper. Nothing beats holding them both in your hand and making a comparison that way, imo -- personal preference is everything, so my suggestion is go to a retailer where you can do a side-by-side.

I just bought the iPhone 12 pro max. Favorite features: the squared design, the LIDAR scanner (for 3D scanning and augmented reality), xdr display, the camera/video performance and speed, definitely the ProRaw format, 5G

Negatives: Not for the phone, I don't game on my phone, but for iOS in general, the lack of investment into cloud gaming.

  3. Yes! I bought some dope assets from:

    EZRACOHEN.TV

Boutique cinematic textures for your films and live shows. Used by filmmakers around the world on projects for Justin Bieber, Tik Tok...
    WILLCECIL.NET

Need help with your next project? I'd love to lend a hand. Take a look through my work, and let's see what we can come up with.

  4. @DarkNTwisted Oh wow, really? That's awesome -- however I read TIDAL only offers offline listening in mobile format-- I would assume mp3 only? FLAC would destroy my phone storage, lol. Soundcloud is the leading music platform industry for DJs, they have a DJ subscription tier that lets you stream offline through mixing software/hardware. It's a new thing, really cool. And I love that Spotify is largely controlled by artists, allowing a personal artist/fan connection, and you'll likely hear it first on Spotify, this also allows content to surface which you can't find anywhere else. The downside to this is music quality is up to the uploader, so very unpredictable.

  5. After a few traumatizing experiences wherein I lost my entire music collection, I am grateful for streaming. It is infinitely easier (especially for the technologically challenged..), and I look forward to the curated Spotify discovery playlists every week. They are spot.. on (cough).

However.. I am learning how to DJ, and building my music collection up from scratch seems.. well nigh impossible. Of course there is the option of downloading my playlists and queueing straight from the app.. alas Spotify is a little ☠@✴#ing corporate prick and is no longer integrating with any DJ software / controllers at all, they rescinded their partnerships effective July 1, 2020. The underdogs  - Tidal and Soundcloud - have risen [cue angelic trumpets] to fill the vacancy. I love Soundcloud, but..

and idk anything about Tidal, lol

  6. I wear over-ear and in-ear:

I will say though, Apple's new surround sound feature for Airpods Pro is absolutely amazing and so immersive. They simulate an experience that feels like you're wearing over-ear headphones, and they pushed the feature through a software update. The only hitch is it's available only for TV/movie streaming, and only through certain apps. Hopefully they will make this feature more universal.
