  1. Depends on where you are going. The entire Canada is winter in December, but some places may be colder than others. For example, If you go to Toronto, then its going to be cold as sh*t there, because I have lived there for 7 years. Toronto has cold, snowy winters. The sub-zero temperatures feel colder because of the wind chill factor. Nevertheless, if you're prepared, you can actually enjoy the Canadian winter. You might want to pack a lot of warm clothing, you probably won't need any T-Shirts if you are going in December. Most of the East Side of Canada (Right of Ontario) will probably be colder than the West. Meaning more snow storms and lower temperature. If you are going to Vancouver BC, it will definitely not be colder than Toronto. Now if you say you are going up North where (Yukon, Nunavut, etc), I don't think you can withstand the weather there in December. It will probably be around -20 to -40 degrees Celsius.

Also, are you going to Canada to see wildlife or entertainment? Or both?

Quoted from a mod on the site why they are making it ratio free:

    Some things:

    1) The ratioless system was implemented in the hopes that it would attract more users to the site. You are correct that it will probably have zero effect on how most current users utilize the site, as they probably already follow the rules and already have the obtained ratio to download whatever they want.

    2) FTS is and will continue to be a private site, always. It may not exactly seem that way right now due to the reliable availability of invites, but you need to understand that the only reason users have so many invites is that FTS is trying to attract more people.

    3) Working on that same principle, when the FTS staff feels as though the userbase is sufficient, invites will NOT be as easily accessible as they are now. At that point, which will likely not be for some time, FTS will bring back the more private environment it began with.

    but donations are still needed....

    4) Donations are just that, donations. They aren't 'needed' or 'required' to keep the site up and running at all. The site/tracker/servers will never go offline due to lack of donations.

  3. Wow this is a great offer!!!!!! You can pay whatever you want for 5 indie games! Te best thing is that there is no MINIMUM amount you can give. Even 1 cent can get you all 5 games! The 5 games include

World of Goo, Aquaria, Gish, Lugaru HD, and Penumbra.

Well I didnt want to pay 1 cent, that will be too selfish of me. So I just payed them $5. But this money is for a good cause. You can either give all the money to the devs OR you can split them for Children Charity. My friend payed 1 cent and he got all 5 games too. Here are the statistics

    -Total raised$425,622

    -Number of contributions53368

    -Average contribution$7.9

The Humble Indie Bundle (pay what you want for five awesome indie games)

Pay what you want for five cross-platform games and donate to two non-profits. This promotion has no middleman: all of the proceeds go directly to the developers and non-profits!

    ENJOY!

  4. What do you mean? Do you mean getting bonus points seeding a file for 24/7? I get that too n Bit-HDTV, but a lot of trackers have bonus points for seeding not just BitHDTV B) I do too, like that system.

Treyarch has confirmed the new Call of Duty Series! It will be called Call of Duty: Black Ops. The game's official website reveals no plot, setting or theme. There are no screenshots. More information should be forthcoming soon. Even though there is not much info yet, there will be a teaser/trailer on May 1st. Game will come out November 9, 2010.

What do you think? I might skip on this one (not because it is made by Treyarch, tbh I like them), there is just too many CoD games for me. I still need to master MW2 lol.

    Trailer is out!

  6. how do you get all these invites to these sites what do i have to do

Start off with a popular tracker like Demonoid and get a good ratio. Then try to look out for anyone who are giving out invites to trackers on InviteScene and post your ratio. If its good, they will send you an invite.

    OR

You can try www.filenetworks.blogspot.com and www.filesharefreak.com and read their updates for open signup trackers.

    OR

Go to www.opentrackers.fr and signup to trackers that are opened (It will show a green dot beside the site)

    Hope I helped.

  7. Well from my experience, MW2 is great. But maybe others may not think its great on the PC because they are not use to PC gaming. Worst thing about playing MW2 on PC are hackers. Most hacks I see are Aimbot and Wallhacks. But no worries, its hard to run into them now because VAC will block them.
