TYLA Carr has given birth to her first child and is said to be "over the moon" about becoming a mum.

The Love Island star, 25, welcomed a bouncing baby into the world this morning after posting a gushing Instagram message about impending parenthood.

A source told The Sun Online: "Mum and baby are well and Tyla is over the moon."

Last night Tyla shared a photo of her and her boyfriend Ross, who she has been dating for just over a year.

Gushing about becoming parents together, Tyla said: "Mummy & Daddy! Wow. Still doesn't feel like there will be a baby here soon! I look at my belly and I know there is a baby in there, but I can't seem to imagine a real life mini us?! When does that feeling sink in?

"Anyway, I just have to give this man @rossco188 some credit. He has been amazing, completely there for me the whole time, even if it's to tell me to stop being such a worrier or to tell me off for doing too much cleaning...

"(He will laugh at that because he cleans more than me) but I can't tell you how excited I am to see him be a father.

"We both came from broken families and it makes us so much more determined to try and give our baby the best possible start in life.

"We already love this baby so much and can't wait to meet s/he."

The Sun revealed she was expecting back in July following a whirlwind relationship after Love Island.

The couple decided to give their relationship a go after they bumped into one another while they were holidaying in Majorca, Spain.

Before that she had been in a relationship with Jonny Mitchell after falling for him in Love Island.

Despite only finding love with Ross after her time in the villa last summer, the pair have actually only known each other for nine years.

Ross likes to stay out of the limelight, while Tyla has been a model since she was a teen.
