PC Connects London brings the industry together in January

In January, representatives from across the computer gaming industry will meet at PC Connects London, including folks from CD Projekt Red, Creative Assembly, Jagex, and more. 500 delegates will hear from 50 speakers across five conference tracks representing where the PC market will head in 2019 – and if you want to be a part of it, there’s still time to get tickets.

The folks at PC Connects London aim to run down the current market in the State of Play track, and the Digital Discovery track will run down how developers can get noticed in a saturated marketplace. Codeshop: Design and Development will offer tech talks breaking down what powers the industry’s biggest games, while The Long Game will run down what customers now expect in this world of service games.

But the main event is The PC Revolution track which will run down all the ways in which the market is shifting – changes in business models, retailers, new technology, and the emergence of new markets, especially in China. All these tracks are aimed at addressing the industry at every scale, from the biggest triple-A publishers to the smallest indie studios, and the latter will get an extra chance to shine at the dedicated Big Indie Zone on the showfloor.

You can pick up tickets through Eventbrite at a discounted rate leading up to the conference on January 21-22. Passes start at £80.00 for indie developers, so small teams have an extra incentive to get in. You can read more details on what to expect at the official site – including a full list of speakers.

Perhaps the biggest reasons to be there are the networking opportunities – hence the whole ‘Connects’ thing. Attendees will be able to meet developers, publishers, investors, media (hi!), and analysts, so they can make the connections to ensure their games are successful.
