In wake of Jose Mourinho’s axing, the entire club is expecting a huge shake up — there’s big-name signings expected to arrive in January and current superstars now wanting to stay.

Gone are the days of unsettled players, with one particular pair now expected to make a dramatic U-turn.

Meanwhile, United chiefs are planning to raid Juventus and Tottenham for two of their biggest names.

JOSE UNCOVERS PLANNED RAID FOR SUPERSTAR DUO
Shortly before being sacked, Jose Mourinho caught wind that Manchester United were planning to raid Juventus for Douglas Costa.

The Portuguese coach also had it confirmed the club would meet his demands and land him a new centre-back by January.

According to The Sun, Mourinho felt the club’s reluctance to boost his squad was undermining him as he continued to butt heads with executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward. But as new reports reveal, Woodward had, in fact, agreed to bring in Brazilian winger Costa and a new centre-half, with Tottenham’s Toby Alderweireld the top target.

Mourinho has accused Ed Woodward of squandering fortunes for Manchester United by bungled contract negotiations, according to The Sun.

Within hours of being handed his marching orders by Woodward at a training ground showdown, Mourinho used his longstanding spokesman Eladio Parames to dig out the Old Trafford chief.
