This is not good. Many great sites are closed by now and only few of them come back online (Docs torrents).

Its impossible to stop sharing data between users.

If they *kill torrent communities someone will create new protocol.

Similar to early P2P times when DC++ and Kazaa were most popular at the time, succeeded by torrents which gain even more popularity. I saw that they are working on F2F protocol instead of P2P. Its much more secure and reliable.

I think there's a bright future for pirates :P

Yes, people are clever. If torrent sites go down, more go up. If torrenting itself goes down, something else will replace it. Pirating is never going to be stopped.

Even so, a few sites shutting down is a bummer but not even close to the end of torrenting. I don't think we should worry too much. :P

SCT got down because of copyright. FWTR went down because of system failure.

I think its all the swedish trackers that are going down. I dont Think polishtracker will go down.

Piracy will never stop. Even if somehow they are able to kill torrents(HIGHLY UNLIKELY) file hosting sites like megaupload and rapidshare are already gaining grounds on file hosting. You can find a LOT of stuff on those. If only they removed the limitation <_<

ya i was not a member but i heard it was good site...sorry to hear that it shut
