It’s the holiday season, so that means that Destiny 2’s Dawning event has arrived to get you into the holiday spirits for 2019! One way to get into the seasonal mood is to acquire the ‘Dawning Cheer’ Sparrow mount that will leave a bunch of really neat presents that players can collect. In order to acquire it, you will have to follow certain baking-related steps. Here we will explain How to Make and Upgrade the Dawning Cheer Sparrow in Destiny 2.

How to Make and Upgrade Dawning Cheer Sparrow in Destiny 2

The first thing you should do is talk with Eva at the Eververse store in the tower.  After you’ve procured a present for Zavala, Eva will assign you the Cheer Up quest.

The objectives for this quest require you to do all sorts of baking-related activities with certain ingredients. We’ll go over the ones required for each task.

Deliver Vanilla Blades to Shaxx

This requires you to have:

• Cabal Oil
• Sharp Flavor
• 15 Essence of Dawn

You can get Sharp Flavor by taking out enemies with a sword, so try to kill some Cabal this way in order to also obtain Cabal Oil. They can mostly be found in the EDZ on the Echion hold.

 

As for the Essence of Dawning; you can obtain those by playing the game. Mainly this includes finishing bounties for Eva and doing other tasks such as public events, patrols, escalation protocols, Gambit and Crucible matches, etc.

Deliver Chocolate Ship Cookies to Amanda

This requires you to have:

• Cabal Oil
• Null Taste
• 15 Essence of Dawn

You can get the Null Taste by taking down foes via void-based class abilities or weapon types. The Cabal Oil can be obtained through these methods too.

Deliver Birdseed to Hawthorne

The ingredients for Eliksni Birdseed are:

 

• Ether Cane
• Personal Touch
• 15 Essence of Dawning

You get Personal Touch by killing foes with the Guardian’s melee attack in close combat. As for the Ether Cane, you get it by taking Falleen to Trostland and taking them out there.

Bake 12 Gifts

Once you’ve baked 12 different gifts, you will get the Dawning Cheer Sparrow as your reward for completing this quest.

Upgrading The Sparrow

The Dawning 2019 triumphs require a new and improved Sparrow to be successfully tackled. You need to do a few things in order to upgrade it:

• Bake 150 gifts
• Bake Lavender Ribbon Cookies for Saint-14
• Bake Fractal Rolls for Brother Vance.
