I think it is a complete disgrace...

I would have not cared had he not been married. If his wife was a girlfriend instead, then well I mean it's not the same. When you are married and you swore to be truthful until death... It's an absolute disgrace.

I have been with my girlfriend for quite some time and not ONCE have I ever even thought of cheating on her... When I ask her to marry me one day it'll be the exact same, because I grew up to be pure, not a dirty coward like Tiger Woods.

His wife is devastated, she gave him her heart and he completely ruined it.

It's really a shame that he did this to his wife and also disappointed all of the fans who look up to him. Many people thought of him as a role model for integrity; and well, basically, he spat in all their faces by taking advantage of his success.

But Tiger Woods is human, and everyone makes mistakes. Woods is famous so his mistake affects relatively a large amount of people; but in reality, we don't even know the guy, and this is not so much of a concern for us as it is for his friends and family. I'm sure he's working with them to make up for what he's done, and earn their forgiveness (the ones that count). Hopefully, fans can forgive him one day in the future as well.

I agree. Had he not been a celebrity this would have not caused such public outcry. He's a golfer, not as super-being. Similar things happen to ordinary people every day and his personal life should not attract attention away from his professional career.

I hate it, when people infer that someone like Tiger Woods is an outright monster when you, to be honest have ABSOLUTELY no clue about what really happened. Everything you've seen or read has been twisted and turned by press and media.

You have absolutely no idea how Tiger's private life was. You do not know whether his wife was an idiot at home, or how exactly it came to this.

Besides, we're all human. We all make mistakes.

The only reason he's an idiot in your eyes, is because he's famous, thus superhuman. I've been with my girlfriend for ages, and never cheated on her, regardless I do not discredit anyone if they are unfaithful, as there might be more to it than you'll notice on first glimpse.

Also, regarding PlzDuntBanMe, you're proclaiming a difference between a regular relationship and a married couple. I have to be honest here. It's completely idiotic to infer such outrageous claims, and it reveals a blatant lack of knowledge on the subject. Love is love, regardless if you have it on paper or not. Cheating is cheating. Just because you walked up to some priest and told him "I do" doesn't change the love (or lack of same) to your counterpart.

Matters of heart are hard to address, but one thing is sure: If he loves another woman, he loves another woman. No questions asked.

Wouldn't any of you people, in his state and having the same status as him, be tempted to cheat?
