Is anyone here a true hacker or programmer? I don't know why but I just want to know if anyone is into this kind of thing.

I have no idea how to do this but hacking seems awesome :)

just google hacking forum and you will get loads of result on it. hacking is a skill which requires lots and lots of reading and time to learn as most the time your messing about trying different things. i recently started learning it and its not to difficult yet but its so time consuming. worth it though as you get to learn lots of tricks which help when your working in I.T. :D

Programming yes, I love programming!

Hacking - I've only sort of touched the surface, lots of trial and error I imagine!

Programming and Hacking very little. But it's quite hard to actually hack something yourself

I used to write virii a long time ago, in a galaxy far away. But now, I just screw around with PERL.

I regularly read 2600, and have a crim record for breaking into a computer system...but I've "reformed" Still, it requires lots of reading, and you should learn the way networks and security work, if nothing more then to just help with stuff later in life, it has come in handy for me many times since I got into the 'real' world.
