Four Good Days Trailer: Glenn Close Helps Mila Kunis Get Sober

Recommended Posts

The full trailer for Four Good Days shows Glenn Close attempting to help Mila Kunis get sober. Based on Eli Saslow’s Washington Post article, “How’s Amanda? A Story of Truth, Lies, and an American Addiction," the addiction drama, Four Good Days, became a darling of the 2020 Sundance Film Festival, with Close and Kunis receiving praise for their portrayal of the mother/daughter duo attempting to tackle the opioid crisis.

Slated to hit theaters on April 30, with an on-demand release set for May 21, Four Good Days follows Molly (Kunis), a 31-year-old heroin addict who reconnects with her estranged mother, Deb (Close), after years of battling a merciless addiction. In a fervent attempt to save her daughter’s life, Deb devotes herself to Molly’s recovery as the duo grapples with demons from the past. Check out the trailer for Four Good Days, released from Vertical Entertainment, below:

Packed with tear-jerking scenes, riveting performances from Close and Kunis, and the unflinching truth about addiction, the moving trailer for Four Good Days makes the case that this film is a must-see. Of course, Close continues to turn out compelling performances and recently made history when she earned both an Oscar and Razzie nomination for Hillbilly Elegy. However, Kunis is the true stand out, as her take on Molly appears unlike any other performance in the actress’ career. Directed by Rodrigo Garcia, Four Good Days also stars Stephen Root, Joshua Leonard, and Sam Hennings. Chronicling the emotional true story, Four Good Days arrives to select theaters this spring.
