Earlier this year, Google has added a lot of new features along with revamping the whole look of its inbox. Undoubtedly, the look has given an extra punch to the Gmail interface and newly added features are praised by some. However, not everybody likes all the features. One of the irritating features is Nudges. Now, who likes to nudge? Nudges is one of the features added by Google to Gmail when the company revamped Gmail.

In Gmail, if you have enabled Nudges, then you will be pushed to respond to the emails that you have not. The feature brings up the email chain to the top of the inbox, so bring it to your notice that you have an older email that needs to be responded to.

Well, the feature is great for those who don’t want to miss out any of the emails, however, it can be very irritating for us, if we get a Nudge for a close-ended conversation. For example: If I have asked someone to send me a piece of information and he/she sends the information. I have checked it and there is no need for further communication. Getting such emails on the top of the list can be annoying.

Fortunately, you can deactivate Nudges feature from Gmail settings. Also, you turn off the nudges both for the emails that you need to respond to or waiting for a reply for.

How To Disable Nudges From Gmail Settings?

Deactivating a feature in Gmail is quite easy. Follow these steps to do so:

Gmail Webpage:

Step 1: Go to Gmail and login to your account.

Step 2: Locate Settings from the upper right corner of the screen.

Step 3: Now Navigate to Nudges from the settings.
