Unlocker is your solution.

If the folder/file is locked, it will show up with the processes that the folder/file is locked into.

It can be very disturbing when the locking handle gets stuck with Explorer.exe or similar and you have to reboot to be able to delete the file, with Unlocker, it Unlocks the folder or file enabling you to delete/delete it!

yes, it does happens. never had to try that, i generally kill the process thro TaskManager.

any defects if this proggy isnt used ??

I also just use TaskManager to shut down the process. This would actually be useful if you didn't know what was causing the error.
