It's believed that post-apocalyptic zombie adventure Dying Light: Platinum Edition could be coming to Nintendo Switch thanks to a substantial leak revealing the game, the release date, and all the additional content. Dying Light: Platinum Edition is the recently-released all-inclusive way to experience Dying Light.

Dying Light: Platinum Edition launched earlier this summer for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. As well as including the base game, the release also includes all expansions and additional game modes released for Dying Light, including the Dying Light: The Following DLC. On top of this, players will also get all previously-released special items, outfits, weapon skins, and vehicle skins as part of the Platinum Edition. In total, the additional content consists of four DLCs and 17 skin bundles. For those who haven't played the original 2015 parkour action-adventure zombie game, Dying Light: Platinum Edition provides all its content available in one simple package.

Nintendo Switch gamers are likely to be able to try their hand at Dying Light: Platinum Edition before the end of the year. As spotted by Polish website PPE (via NintendoEverything) an image of the game's upcoming Switch release has been found online. While the release hasn't yet been officially revealed by either Techland or Nintendo, the image looks legitimate, even showcasing box art. According to the leak, Dying Light: Platinum Edition will include local and online co-op play, and will come to Nintendo Switch this October. The image states a retail price of $49.99. If the leak is correct, this will be the first time Dying Light has been playable on a Nintendo console.

The Nintendo Switch version of Dying Light: Platinum Edition appears to include everything seen in the existing versions of the game, though it also looks as though it will include some additional functionality. The infographic notes that HD rumble, gyro aiming, motion controls, and the Switch's touchscreen are all compatible with Dying Light: Platinum Edition, meaning longstanding fans of the series might want to pick this up just to test out the differences in gameplay. Gamers looking forward to the Switch edition of the game should be on the lookout for an official announcement before getting too excited, as the leak is still unconfirmed.

The leak isn't the first for Dying Light: Platinum Edition, which was spotted on the Microsoft Store ahead of its official announcement by Techland. Similarly, Dying Light 2 Stay Human's release date was also made public ahead of its reveal. Dying Light 2 has been a long time in the making and was originally planned to release in spring 2020 before being delayed. The sequel is expected to launch on December 7, 2021.
