HandBrake Small sized guide

This tutorial will teach you how to make small sized uploads. Without losing any video quality.

Only program needed in this tutorial is HandBrake and can be downloaded Here

And under Outpul Files set the Default Path to C:\Users\name\Desktop

and click close.

Now we need to set up some Presets. Im have one to 720p HDTV and one to HDTV. And for movies im just using a smaller bitrate out for what the source have.

First 720p HDTV Preset

First set the Output Settings (Preset: Custom) to MKV File

Now go to the tab Video. And have the settings like this:

Now go to the tab Audio. And have the settings like this:

Now click on Add under Presets and type a name in the box Preset Name, im calling my 720p HDTV.

And the HDTV Preset

Only thing you need to change in this is the Avg Bitrate (kbps) under the Video tab to 630.

But it shall look like this:

First set the Output Settings (Preset: Custom) to MKV File

Now go to the tab Video. And have the settings like this:

Now go to the tab Audio. And have the settings like this:

And now save the Preset. Like you did with the 720p HDTV Preset. And im calling mine HDTV

Now we are ready to encode

Im using the 720p Preset here.

First click Source-Video File

And now browse to your source. And open it.

Now we are ready to start

Click Start now you can see in the buttom of HandBrake its encoding. Remember it have to do it 2 times to get the best quality (2-Pass Encoding)

If you want to add more files First open your first source and click on Add to Queue. And now just browse to your next source and remember to click on Add to Queue after added the source. And click Start after your have all your sources.

Hi, I'm very interested in this tutorial but all links to screenshots are broken... Would it be possible to fix this ?
