After months of work we are proud to announce our new ratioless system. Hope you all enjoy it!

The New System:

The upload, download and seedbonus are now merged into Carats.

Spending Carats

If you download a torrent it will cost you Carats in the form of:

1 Carat = 1 MB

1k Carat = 1000 Carat = ~1 GB

and so on

If the torrent is freeleech it will not cost you any Carats to download.

Torrets are freeleech when:

We have a site wide freeleech or

The torrent is over 5 GB or

You apply a freeleech slot to the torrent

Earning Carats

You earn Carats by seeding. Every hour you seed will earn you 1% of the torrent you are seeding.

For example:

You seed a torrent that is 30 MB you earn 1% of the downloaded mb in Carats (0.3 MB = 0.3 Carats) each hour.

This means that you earn the full 30 Carats that the torrent cost you after seeding 100 non continuous hours (~4 days continuous seeding or ~1 week of average seeding).

Bonuses

The longer you seed the more Carats per hour you earn.

If you seed over 1000 non continuous hours you get 2% of the torrent mb in Carats each hour.

If you seed over 2000 non continuous hours you get 3% of the torrent mb in Carats each hour.

If you are the only one seeding you also get another 10% of the torrent mb in Carats each hour this stacks on top of the time spent seeding. If you have been seeding for over

2000 hours and are the only one on the torrent seeding you get 13% of the torrent mb in Carats each hour.

Freeleech Cap

Carats earned per hour is capped to 5 GB on torrents over 5 GB (because of freeleech). This means that if you have just downloaded a torrent thats 20 GB you get 1% of 5 GB per hour (51.2 MB = 51.2 Carats) instead of 1% of 20 GB (204.8 MB = 204.8 Carats) per hour.

User promotion is now based on Carats

Power user = Must have been a member for at least 3 months and have a balance over 200k Carats.

Super user = Must have been a member for at least 1 year and have a balance over 500k Carats.

TL;DR

Seed each torrent for at least 100 hours and never worry about ratio again.
