FileList is NOT shutting down!

About a week ago, the owner of FileList made the announcement that the site would be shutting down. The reason cited was the owner's lack of time to run the site, emphasizing the significant commitment required for such platforms. Concurrently, they also closed the site's donations, and this status is expected to last for the next 2-3 months. Another key factor contributing to the decision to shut down was the concern about the security risks associated with sensitive data.

Ensuring the website's security is a complex task, one that demands a trustworthy, reliable, and technically proficient person. Finding such an individual proved to be a challenge. Ultimately, the owner believed that shutting down the site was the best choice for the community.

Following this surprising announcement, the community shared their thoughts and opinions regarding FileList. Many considered it to be one of the best private trackers available. However, a few days before the official shutdown was scheduled, the owner, also known as EboLLa, released another announcement. In this announcement, it was revealed that FileList would continue its operations. Although EboLLa would be retiring from the website, another user, God, returned to take over the technical aspects, ensuring the site's functionality. Additionally, Oana would be promoted to the SysOp class, further bolstering the team responsible for the site's operation.

With these changes and new owners in place, FileList will continue to thrive and evolve alongside its community.
