Hmm that is strange because I registered with no issues at all and that is why I posted an open signup but it seems that they opened registrations for just 1 day :/.

Lets see if they will be opened again tomorrow otherwise Im sorry for giving you users a false hope...

I tried to signup just for a test to see if it works and they opened registrations again so gogo take this opportunity quickly until it lasts :).

I tried to register to all sister sites and they all worked so just a heads up to take this opportunity to create an account on all of the sites if you want :).
