Hi,

I thinking one of the most disturbing issues for a torrent use what called HnR or "Hit and Run". do you join IPT recently, do you download a torrent then you don`t fulfill it`s seeding requirement. Here is also another hint.
If you download torrent from IPT then you have two options to complete file seeding, one achieving (1.1 ratio) for the file, second seeding torrent for complete 14 days (two weeks), if you couldn`t achieve this rule, it will turn into HnR in you profile.
(Note) System will create what called "surplus credit" in your profile. Also it cut the data required for seeding that torrent from you Surplus Credit NOT from your uploaded data consequently, so you need to think that when you got HnR in profile, you should COUNT the data required for seeding torrent from your already surplus credit as shown here,

https://ibb.co/yBdjV2RY

You also can zap torrent with bonus points in case of having the required points for zapping.

These types of rules apply on IPT sistersite like Torrentday as example.

Best Regards,

Hello,

I understand your concern — the HnR (Hit and Run) system can definitely feel confusing or worrying at first, but it’s actually quite straightforward once you know how it works.

On IPT, every torrent you download must meet one of these two requirements to avoid an HnR mark:

  1. Reach a 1.1 ratio (upload 110% of the file size), OR

  2. Seed it continuously for 14 full days.

If neither condition is met, the torrent will count as an HnR on your profile. However, the good news is that IPT uses a “surplus credit” system, meaning the data required to fix HnRs is deducted from your surplus credit — not your actual upload stats. This gives you flexibility and helps keep your ratio healthy even if you miss a seeding requirement once in a while.

Also, if you have enough bonus points, you can zap a torrent to clear the HnR from your account immediately.

As long as you keep a few torrents seeding in your client and maintain some surplus credit, HnRs are easy to avoid and won’t cause major issues.

Kind Regards,
J.Stash

What I recommend is that everyone seed torrents for at least a month because we all know that private trackers rely on seeding. The longer they seed, the better the tracker and the faster the download. So, instead of following the hit and run rules, seed for a longer period of time or seed a specific torrent file for a long period of time, then follow the hit and run rules for the remaining torrent files you download and delete them once the seed is complete.

Thank you for adding

After I joined any new tracker recently, I first put eyes on Rules and FAQs section, I don`t delete any torrent file except it passed two complete days in my client or I can fulfill the required period of time, I also will consider seed torrents for at least a month in coming activity.I just want to add hints from my long experience on the tracker.
