Music Video is the best tracker for music videos whether official or live shows. The trackers also allows its users to post full music-video DVDs and documentaries of music artists/bands. It has made its mark in the BitTorrent community with its most experienced and seasoned encoders who do not compromise for the quality of the videos without caring about the file size, thereby simply giving you the best quality of music videos that you can download off the Internet. It is a private tracker and if one wants to gain access to it one has to obtain an invite from either a friend who is a reputed/VIP member of the site. It is a TBDEVbased tracker. It has almost 2,228 users as on 18/07/12 with a whooping 50k+ torrents with the amount of dead torrents to be 3853. The older torrents have at least one seeder while the latest ones are seeded well.

A list of of genres and video types are available which sort the videos into various categories. Foreign (Non-english) music videos are also available as the tracker has members from all the parts of the world. The foreign material collection is also good plus there is nothing to beat the English music video collection there.

The search option avaialble on the browse page allows you to narrow down your search and help you gain access to your content easily:

Freeleech

Freeleech is available which lasts for 2-3 days on an average. The freeleech torrents are categorized as Golden torrents and are available either on the tracker birthday or when the site conditions (e.g. to get more members enrolled, reduce the number of dead torrents and achieving the minimum number of torrents,etc. ) are met . Golden torrents are also available throughout the site and are marked with after the title of the music videos. Downloading golden torrents doesn't count towards your download but the upload is counted. The downside is that you cannot search for golden torrents on the browse page. Earlier you could but now it is disabled due to abuse by some members.

The sites goal with golden torrents is;

- to promote new/obscure bands

- give some freebie's on vob's which are popular to usuers

Forums

The forums are quite active with the topics divided into relevant sub-forums and is managed by the moderators of the site quite nicely. You can find most of your questions and doubts answered in discussion in the forums. A nice collection of tutorials aid you in gaining your perfect music tracker experience. You can ask questions regarding encoding a videos, replacing audios, site bugs, give suggestions for improving the site, bit torrent related help from the community members which are there for your help whenever your question requires more than a simple thought or common sense. Invite System

The invites are available with the reputed members of the site who are either involved with the site work (staff) or atleast have to be a VIP. VIPs have to purchase their VIP tiers and are provided with invites to allow their friends/known to allow access to the site on the risk of their account. The amount of invites you recieve per month depends on the amount of donation you have made to avail VIP access to the site. The highest VIP contributing 100 US $ gets 10 invites as a gift (but they still receive 1 invite per month during their VIP period. ).

The site has two channels on the p2p-network IRC server - #music-vid and a newly introduced #MusicVids. You can gain access to the first channel and ask for help from the site members and staff and is open to the non-members. The second channel is not open to the non-members and is created

In addition to the above, this is a very nice tracker where you can find a lot of music videos new or old and that too in a very good quality due to the standards set by the trackers moderators to maintain the quality of the site. Those people who think Youtube is a better option for download should once give this tracker a try and get to know what it feels like to have your favorite videos in the highest quality avaialble on the entire internet. The encoders and uploaders provide the tracker with untouched VOBs, x264 rips (with suitable audio) , full intact DVDs, Master copies (those which are the first copies available with the directors/editors of the music video) and some publicly web-streaming content to have all the music related content in one place and to keep track with the latest music videos but the web-streaming content is highly moderated to meet the site's quality. You can find videos that are not avaialble anywhere on the interenet, not even on Youtube and have them on your drive. They provide good speed as the ratio of torrents is well maintained. All the torrents are avaialble for the users to download provided they should maintain their minimum ratio otherwise they are warned and a second warning will ban your ISP from gaining access to the tracker. Forums are also pretty nice with a lot of useful tutorials to help you encode the videos in high quality before you upload the torrents. The IRC channel is also active with moderators continuously chatting and helping each other.

Surviving on the site does not necessarily needs a seedbox. You can maintain a very good ratio if you have resources along with a good home internet connection. Although those who do not have a good internet connection can prefer buying a seedbox to have a good ratio. Most leechers on the site use a seedbox though and seed the content provided by the uploader of the torrent faster than the uploader and gain advantage. Although, if you have a good internet connection with a nice upload speed, you can be on par with seedbox users. Most of the reputed users on the site do not use a seedbox.
