I`m in love with this series of games. I even got the old school ones downloaded haha :P

played through all the previous (aside from the original). Just got this latest free with a new xbox360 (old one rrod'd). Playing through it now, seems pretty good, although not a huge fan of the overall layout of the game. That, and things just seem a little too easy and layed out for you. Not that any of the previous games were that difficult, but this one seems to spoon feed you constantly.

To be honest, it is CRAP.

It's like Ubisoft was either on drugs 24/7 (and i mean the deadly ups and downs mix) or they have decided to take out their full force of trolling capabilities.

1. Prince of Persia : Sands Of Time

- Wall running, acrobatics, some powers which are mixed with combat, a good mix between using acrobatics and powers with surroundings, some nice puzzles great story, great feel to it, the prince is on the moral side and is young

2. Prince of Persia : Warrior Within

- More new acrobatic capabilities, much more, much more combat innovation and combinations with acrobatics, much more implemented use with surroundings, some mild advancement with powers,

more puzzles, all in all built upon game, the prince shows character progression and combats different aspects of survival and morality of wars,

a much darker scene, a step towards realism (however ou define it, it more than in Sands of Time) : blood, gore, swords actually slice, and dat damn ass on Shahdee, to hell with the Empress.

Overall an improvement.

3. Prince of Persia : Two Thrones

- Increased combat, increased innovation, increased powers, increased combat capabilities, a good implementation with the "chain whip" and a good setting in accordance to using it,

well thought out implementation to surroundings, as well as puzzles, story is a great plot twist, and a new point of question regarding psychology and take on duality of character.

All in all, yet again an improvement on many bases, and in new ways.

And finally we come to the turd defacing the beautiful mountain of progress

4. Prince of Persia : The Forgotten Sands

- Graphics is better (debatable),

the combat is weaker than Sands of Time, i had more fun and irritation and i mean one trillion times more fun fighting with two end level enemies in sands of Time (you do how much a number 1 trillion is).

For craps sake, i don't know what they were thinking here, even focusing on fighting more enemies and armies could have been done better by innovating as previous titles in new ways, but this is horror.

Powers, they added elements, and some RPG-ish way of appointing powers, nice touch but most of it is so unbalanced it ends up a simple sword swing is more effective than powers.

Acrobatics, should i say weaker than in Sands Of Time or equivalent ? Either way it's horrifying for a sequel in such a series.

Story.... i ain't even going to comment this, a nice new approach, but the approach was done from a completely bad angle. Not even question and delving like inspiration in the player.

No more blood, no more gore, enemies and you now bleed air when sliced, really ? I MEAN REALLY ?

Oh sorry, i wasn't aware of the sign of making it for a broader audience THAT NEEDS ONLY GOOGLE GORE AND GET THE REAL STUFF.

How much more ruined could they have made this game, i don't know,

what i do know is that if there was a TECHNICAL prequel to Sands of Time, this would be it, and not a sequel.

Horror, pure horror, i will go now and ready a nuke for every Ubisoft HQ there is.

I am a huge fan of POP series and played all the parts. Well, i liked this 5th installment, excellent graphics....nice combats....and a well-told story. But POP-4(Ghost of the past) was much better than this and pretty hard too. anyway, for me POP-5 is 9/10 (as i m a huge fan :D )
