Think when demonoid was up, back in the day everyone used it. was my favorite tracker. when it went down started using IPT which is a good substitute, but nothing covers the vast array of media demonoid covered. was a big loss when it went to down.

I used demonoid a lot. Especially liked it because of the rare stuff that couldn't be found anywhere else...
