John Newman follows his new single 'Come And Get It' with the eagerly awaited release of his brand new second album 'Revolve'.

The follow up to Newman's Platinum selling number 1 debut 'Tribute', 'Revolve' looks set to confirm the Yorkshireman as one of the UK's most singular talents and consistently successful artists.

The success of 'Come And Get It' follows John's recent collaboration with Calvin Harris on the no. 1 Global smash 'Blame' which has sold over 4 million worldwide and has been streamed an unbelievable 270 million times. 'Blame' gave John his third UK no. 1 single following Rudimental's 'Feel The Love' and his own chart-topping debut 'Love Me Again'.

Fans had a chance to hear some of the new songs when the double Brit Award nominee recently performed in front of an audience of 65,000 as special guest on Taylor Swift's British Summer Time concert in Hyde Park. The following night he was headlining the prestigious European Games Closing Ceremony in a stadium with 50,000 baying fans. Lady Gaga had opened the games two weeks earlier.

'Revolve' feels classic, timeless, but never retro. Opening with an intro featuring Idris Elba, the album was produced by John and recorded in Los Angeles, London and Miami, alongside a crack team of musicians and producers including Greg Kurstin, (Sia, Beyonce, Ellie Goulding, Katy Perry & Lana Del Ray), the legendary Charlie Wilson from The Gap Band on future smash 'Tiring Game', Jack Splash and Jerry Hey's brass section (Michael Jackson's' Thriller, Quincy Jones). Revolve was also recorded single by single - an approach John learnt from his friend Calvin Harris. 'I remember going out for a cigarette, just after we'd finished recording' remarks Newman, 'and I thought to myself, 'This is very surreal, and I'm in LA and making my second record. I'm actually doing it...'. At this point it's worth remembering John Newman is 25 years old and in a very short time he's gone from being a sensitive kid from a small town in North Yorkshire, to a guy who hops back and forward to Los Angeles and records at Michael Jackson's old studio.

A little re-cap ' 'Tribute', John's self-penned widely acclaimed debut number 1 album, is certified platinum in the UK while breakout single 'Love Me Again' entered the chart at no. 1 selling over 900k copies sold in the UK and achieving a staggering 122 million streams globally. Indeed Newman has sold over 6 million singles world-wide to date. Vevo/Youtube video plays stand at a rudely healthy 380 million, while John's social stats are equally impressive with 1.6 million fans on Facebook, 480k Twitter followers and over 100k followers on Instagram.

The success of the debut album and attendant singles wasn't confined to these shores with Newman's career really taking off in the US and across the globe. 'Tribute' reached no. 2 on the US iTunes chart and European and Antipodean success was equally notable with double platinum status in Australia, Italy, Czech Republic and Norway, Platinum success in the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Norway and Switzerland and Gold status in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden.

An accompanying book, also entitled 'Revolve' and published by Quadrille, is a first person account by John documenting the creative process involved in the making of albums one and two and will be released at the same time.
