XP forever, W7 seemed promising but having used it for 6 months its in the bin - my bluetooth never worked right, mouse would work but not keyboard - even though they were a set, had to restart my router after booting into W7 if I wanted the internet, if I wanted to print something I would have to install the printer again - I now have 65 copies of my printer, the interface between my sound hardware and the W7 mixer works until a point then stops and you have to go to control panel etc and when using the laptop for 2-3 hours it reaches a point where W7 & apps behave strange (magnifier gets a mind of its own) and you need to restart.

XP never played up on me....
