Mac vs Windows

I have to say.... Mac. I used to be a committed PC person (I even worked in a store selling and building the things for years). I always thought Macs were too limiting and that 'real computer nerds' used PCs. A friend of mine who's madly into Unix taught me a few basic Terminal tricks and got me interested and I've never really looked back. Macs are flexible, they're just not as easy to mess up through the UI - you have to really try in order to break it - which is handy for luddite friends as well and cuts down on me having to act as technical support!

i switched to mac a couple years ago, it is better for most things including graphic design. I feel like windows is just a few years behind and clunky.

Mac is for people who don't want to understand their computer.

Windows is for people who want to work with the guts of their computer but be pissed off on a regular basis

And Linux is just right for me!

use windows but it is terrible, privacy sucks, security sucks, os sucks!, mac is far better machine as is linux

I worked with both Windows XP and Vista and OSX Tiger to Lion, I don't know how Windows 7 is, but Mac products are much more client friendly.

since i pirate it i obviously only have money for one computer so i need a computer that fits my needs as far as audio and video production final cut and logic are two of my most used programs and photoshop just runs so much better i have had my macbook pro for three years and everything still runs fine never had to reformat or no blue screens no disk defragments. for gaming i would certainly use a pc but thats why i own an xbox. simplicity simplicity simplicity.
