currently I am using ArchLinux which I extremely customizable, however Crunchbang Linux (Debian) is also very nice.

windows 7 64-bit ultimate on all three of my pc's

but as of late within a couple of months have not been happy with it because had to reboot my system on 2 of my pc's on 2 separate occasions due to system crashes after updates

I've been dual booting Windows 7 and Arch for a while now and I love the combination. Windows is great for games but I seem to be a thousand times more productive in Linux for some reason.

I've tried a few and XP was a firm favourite. I was reluctant at first but Windows 7 is working well for me. I think I like it over XP simply for the ability to mute the volume on certain applications and not others from the taskbar. Shame it's file copying protocol is so slow though. That has definitely gone backwards imho.

Depends how your using your computer. But I'm a Windows fan so i prefer Windows 7.
