i generally stick to a hdtv as its less then some ..its cos i am limited with my isp..but if i wasnt i would go at least 720

Since I'm lucky enough to have the bandwidth, I go for 720p. The quality difference is very noticeable on a 720p or 1080p tv. I haven't downloaded enough 1080p tv shows (they're not available, at least on the trackers I have access to) to tell if there's a noticeable difference making the next step up to 1080p.

I never download TV Shows, only watch em online. But if I did, I would download them at 720p.

I watch them in 720p but store every tvshows in hdtv.xvid because i watch a lot of them and with only 3.5TB hard drive space i can't store it all in 720p :P

if the seasons out on dvd then dvdrip otherwise hdtv works fine for me
