Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, and Conan O'Brien might have all been rivals, but Donald Trump's insults at them had the three teaming up for the first time. Both The Late Show (CBS), and The Tonight Show (NBC) used the bit as their cold openings and allowed the three talk show hosts to answer back to Trump's insults in a way that brought their audiences together in laughter.

At a campaign rally in West Columbia, S.C., Donald Trump, who was recently even lampooned in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, took shots at all the three late-night television hosts as well as others. "Did you see Jimmy Fallon? Jimmy Fallon! The guy screws up my hair, going back and forth. He was so disappointed to find out it was real. He couldn’t believe it," Trump told a booing audience right before calling Colbert a "lowlife" who has no talent. While Conan wasn't a direct target of Trump's, he joined in on a recent series of insults as well.

In response, Colbert, Fallon, and O'Brien have teamed up to deliver their own insults to Trump. "It's surprising Trump is orange, because if you ask me, he is bananas," Colbert says in the collaborative clip (above). Then, he receives a FaceTime call from Fallon. After the two trade insults at each other based on Trump's quotes, Conan soon appears on the call while shaving. Conan can't believe the "real estate guy who sells steaks" is president. At the end of the video, Colbert and Fallon agree to meet at the infamous Red Hen restaurant that kicked out press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

All three talk show hosts don't seem to care about the inevitable backlash from Trump or his supporters online. They were soon called the "three stooges," "pathetic," and some even wished for their deaths. Then again, they didn't receive the wrath of Trump supporters like recent Television Critic's Association award nominee Samantha Bee, who has been horribly insulted online.

Are Colbert, Fallon, Bee, and others participating in the open rebellion against Donald Trump crossing the line? According to some people, they are. But when has there

really been a line, so to speak, in late-night political comedy? Still, the fact remains that there will be plenty of other anti-Trump monologues in the future from the late night talk show hosts as the U.S. president will still be in office for another two years.
