Psyonix Games has announce that a Rocket League Ultimate Edition, a new retail version of their highly popular “sports” game, will be coming to retail on August 31 in Europe and and August 28 in North America. It will include all of the game’s DLC as well, at no additional cost.

Rocket League has been one of the more popular casual games on the Xbox One and Playstation 4 and now the Nintendo Switch, with a large number of players on each platform that has necessitated it being ported to a wide number of consoles including the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, MacOS, PC, and Linux.

And considering its gameplay, where you play soccer with rocket-powered RC cars, who wouldn’t want to play something like that? Even better is that Psyonix has been supporting the game for a long time, constantly bringing in new arenas, new cars, and new cosmetics to keep people playing.

The Rocket League Ultimate Edition game will also be coming with the Chaos Run DLC, Revenge of the Battle-Cars DLC, Supersonic Fury DLC, Batman vs Superman Dawn of Justice car pack, Aftershock, Esper, Marauder, Masamune, Proteus, Triton and Vulcan DLC Battle-Cars, and the DC Superheros DLC pack. All of these packs, normally separate, will be included in the ultimate edition.

In addition to having two different release dates for Europe and the US, the game’s price will also be different depending on what console you buy it for. For instance, buying it for the Xbox One or Playstation 4 would cost you $39.99, while buying on the Nintendo Switch would cost you $49.99.

While there’s no indication that this will be the final big Rocket League retail release (the game previously had another retail release when it first came out for the Nintendo Switch), it might very well be considering how much DLC is going to be on it. But once again, the game will be coming out on August 28 and August 31 on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
