Kanye West poses with North and Saint for Harper's Bazaar cover

Kanye West has posed with children North and Saint for the latest Harper's Bazaar U.S. cover.

The rapper and wife Kim Kardashian welcomed their eldest daughter in 2013 before their son was born two years later, and they are also parents to six-month-old daughter Chicago. In her fifth annual ICONS portfolio for the publication, global fashion director Carine Roitfeld invited Kanye and his children to take part in a cover feature titled 'Families That Rock.' And in the accompanying interview, the 41-year-old shared his desire for his offspring as they grow older.

"I hope my children never lose their confidence to society," he said.

Carine told WWD that "It was amazing to see that some of the industry’s most groundbreaking rock stars have a sense of tenderness with their loved ones," and was delighted that she also managed to persuade the likes of Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey to participate.

Alongside seven-year-old twin sons Moroccan and Monroe, Mariah insisted that: "Family is the most important thing."

"My children have provided me with such joy as they've developed their own unique personalities," the singer continued. "Moroccan has a knack for technology, and Monroe is really musical. They're each other's best friends, and I love watching them grow up."

Whereas Christina, who was photographed with 10-year-old son Max and three-year-old daughter Summer, emphasised the rewarding nature of motherhood.

"I love being mama bear and providing support, strength, and a safe haven to my babies and loved ones, knowing that, above all else, it's the most important job I have," she smiled.

Bruce Springsteen and his daughter Jessica, 26, have also been captured on camera, as well as Lionel and Nicole Richie, and Keith Richards' daughters Theodora and Alexandra Richards.
