Rockstar Is A Little Too Confident About Red Dead Redemption 2

As if redefining gaming was an easy task, then wouldn’t every developer and game publisher around every corner be shattering old features and revolutionize the gaming industry? Well, Rockstar is very much confident about their upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2.

In the latest financial earning’s call, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick referring to Red Dead Redemption 2 said that Red Dead Redemption 2 will redefine the gaming industry.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is Rockstar Games’ first title developed from the ground up for the current console generation. We could not be more excited about the upcoming launch of Red Dead Redemption 2, which is poised to be another massive entertainment event.

Yes, yes we get the point, we know that Take-Two has a few tricks up its sleeve, like the fact that they are not ruling out the option for a Battle Royale version. Still, if they think that mixing the gunplay between GTA 5 and Max Payne is something that a game which aims to redefine an industry should opt for then surely it will definitely redefine the gaming industry, wouldn’t it?

Their overconfidence may come from a history of providing amazing games but it does not entirely mean that their every game will be a redefiner.

A little while back Take-Two said Red Dead Redemption 2 will sell really well, in fact, Take-Two’s CEO Strauss Zelnick said that it will be a huge hit.

Well, that is certainly a way to build the hype but then again, we also have a few predictions that seem to suggest otherwise. According to Piper Jaffray’s recent report Black Ops 4 will outsell Red Dead Redemption 2 and even Battlefield V. So if their predictions turn true then will RDR 2, still be defining the gaming industry?
