Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is expected to release later this year and everyone is going to be lucky enough to witness the biggest game in the series except Nintendo Switch users as it will be skipping Nintendo Switch.

In a recent interview with Game Informer, game’s director Scott Phillips had a detailed interview session answering many questions about the game including what’s coming and what the fans can expect from the game. Eventually, at one point, he was asked about the possibilities of Nintendo Switch version of the game to which you will find at 6:07 below.

In short Game Informer asked: Could this come to Switch? and Phillips replied by saying “I don’t know how to program, so, otherwise I would do it myself.”

The chances of  Assassin’s Creed Odyssey are very less at the moment and obviously, as to how much massive it is, it’s definitely going to be hard to port it to Nintendo Switch. Still, there’s a possibility after witnessing games like Wolfenstein and Doom on Switch which were ported by Panic Button.

Ubisoft has partnered with Nintendo and they are closer than ever. Ubisoft also worked with  Mario+ Rabbids Kingdom Battle and they are going to work on Starlink: Battle for Atlas.

As for the game, you will be able to play it on all platforms starting on October 5, 2018, and it’s going to bring a variety of locations with 8 different Biomes.

The in-game combat is also going to change as enemies are going to give you more tough time than they ever did. They can now parry attack you and will even heal themselves so you have to make sure to kill them on the spot.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on Nintendo Switch is definitely going to be amazing and will allow fans to play their favourite game on the go which will be a dream come true and we hope that Ubisoft does find out a way to bring Assassin’s to Switch soon.
