His departure has been officially confirmed.

Panic! At The Disco have confirmed that touring guitarist Kenny Harris will no longer perform with the band, after he faced sexual misconduct allegations.

Posting on Twitter, the band confirmed that Harris “will no longer be performing with us because of a personal matter”.

The announcement comes after sexual assault allegations against the touring guitarist emerged on Twitter.

Elsewhere on social media, one fan claimed that she had exchanged messages with Harris while she was under the age of consent – sharing screenshots to support her claims.

Harris himself is yet to directly respond.

He first joined the group as a touring member in 2013, after Spencer Smith departed due to unspecified health reasons.

At present, Brendon Urie is the only full time member of the group.

Meanwhile, Urie recently revealed that he was eyeing a West End role, after winning huge plaudits for his turn in ‘Kinky Boots’ on Broadway.

“I would love to do the West End, but only if I play an American,” he told the BBC. “I wouldn’t want to butcher their [English] language in front of them.

“The dream is to play Jean Valjean in Les Miserables or to be Elder Price in Book of Mormon,” he said in terms of his ideal roles. “Broadway is a different beast entirely to being in a band. It is the most gruelling schedule. It’s the most exhausted I had ever been,” he added.

“I also didn’t plan ahead enough. We had just done a two-and-a-half month tour and I was like, ‘Screw it, I am going right in to Broadway’. But it was cool – I’d never take it back.”
