"This will be the ultimate celebration

KISS have announced details of the UK leg of their final ever tour. Check out full dates and ticket details below.

The farewell jaunt was first touted earlier this year, after the band tried to trademark the phrase ‘The End Of The Road’, to be used in connection with “live performances by a musical band”.

Now, it the farewell shows have been confirmed – with the glam-rock icons set to call at Birmingham, London, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow.

“All that we have built and all that we have conquered over the past four decades could never have happened without the millions of people worldwide who’ve filled clubs, arenas and stadiums over those years,” said KISS in a statement. “This will be the ultimate celebration for those who’ve seen us and a last chance for those who haven’t.

“KISS Army, we’re saying goodbye on our final tour with our biggest show yet and we’ll go out the same way we came in… Unapologetic and Unstoppable.”

KISS’ upcoming UK tour dates are below. Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday November 2 and will be available here.

9 July 2019 – Birmingham, Birmingham Resorts World Arena
11 July 2019 – London, The O2
12 July 2019 – Manchester, Manchester Arena
14 July 2019 – Newcastle, Metro Radio Arena
16 July 2019 – Glasgow, SSE Hydro Arena

“Let me put it bluntly: One day we are going to stop and do the last show,” he said. “I don’t know when that is… I still look stunning in real life.”

Hopes of a swansong album were put to bed last week when Stanley said a final record is unlikely to happen.

“No, I don’t think so,” he said. “It’s a different time now. I could write ‘Let It Be’ and people would still say, ‘That’s great. Now play ‘Detroit Rock City’.”
